This guide will help you navigate the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Finding the Five Friends
At the beginning of the temple, your first task is to find five of your friends (referred to as “little buddies”). Here’s how to locate each of them.
First Friend: Left-hand Side
Immediately, head to the left-hand side and jump down. There’s a shark-like enemy here, but don’t worry, you can easily take him out. Use the R button to handle him with ease.
To get to the next part, follow this specific order. First, place a trampoline, then set a box beside it, and finally, place a tree next to the box. Now, jump on the trampoline, set the next one, and keep repeating this process until you’ve reached the top. Simple as that!
Second Friend: Ladder Descent
Next, head down the nearby ladder. Most of the enemies here are easy to dodge, except for the one at the end. Once you’ve reached the bottom, switch to your Boulder ability. Place the boulder at the back, release it, and repeat the process with another boulder.
After that, set two trampolines on top of each other. Jump on the trampolines and make your way to the next friend.
Third Friend: Bed Bridges
This next part requires some finesse, especially since enemies are constantly attacking. You’ll need to create a “bed bridge.” To do this, place a bed, jump across, and place another bed on the other side. Be quick, as enemies might destroy your bed before you make it across!
If things get tricky, you can always switch to trampolines instead of beds. Jump across and collect your third friend.
Fourth Friend Is Just Across
Once you’ve crossed the bed bridge or trampoline section, you’ll find yourself facing frozen enemies. You should be able to move through this area fairly easily. Make your way up to the fourth friend, who is located right at the top.
Fifth Friend: Island Search
Now, we return to the earlier section of the temple to find the last friend. Head towards a small island nearby. Once again, use the bed bridge method (or trampolines) to reach the island.
Set beds strategically, one after the other, and then use a trampoline to jump up. Push a boulder out of the way, and there it is—the last friend!
