The Weird Bolt is found in a tornado in the Yaniv settlement near the Yaniv Station. Upon entering the tornado, you’ll witness a stalker fall with a Wilhelm scream. Search the stalker’s body to find a PDA, which provides clues about reaching the center of the tornado.

Getting to the center of the tornado is tricky. Walking directly into it will cause you to be picked up and flung around, so instead, you’ll need to follow its path carefully. Begin by heading toward the train tracks in the area. Look for stairs leading upward near the tornado’s path.

2. Jump over the train to the container.
3. Jump between the two containers and onto the boxes.
4. Continue jumping across the boxes and containers.
5. Reach the blue container, climb up, and then onto the train.
6. Jump to the next blue container, then onto the red one.
7. Follow the path until you reach a hanging blue container.

Climbing the Crane

After navigating the containers, you’ll reach a crane. Here, it’s recommended to quick save. Climb the crane to its top and wait for the tornado to approach. As the tornado moves closer, it will start “eating” the crane. This is a critical moment:

1. Use a healing stim to replenish your health, as the tornado will deal significant damage when close.
2. If you’re not fully healed, the tornado can kill you.
