You can find the Mark I EMR Bolt Action Rifle in three locations. Two of them are stashed in Pripyat and the Army Warehouses at the Chemical Plant. The third can be bought at the Yaniv Base Station from a trader.
Modified Mark I EMR With Scope Location 1: Army Warehouses in Chemical Plant Region
Head over to the Army Warehouses in the Chemical Plant Region as shown in the map. Here, you’ll find a tower which can be climbed using a ladder. Climb to the top of the outpost, and you’ll find a modified Mark I EMR with a scope, along with some ammo for your sniping needs.
Regular Mark I EMR Location 2: Trader Wreck at Yaniv Base Station
The second Mark I EMR is found over at the Yaniv Base Station in the Yaniv Region. Head over to the trader named Wreck at the Station and he’ll sell you a Mark I EMR for around 20,000 Coupons. If the Mark I EMR is not available in stock, come back again or reload your quick save. It will eventually pop up in his inventory.
Modified Mark I EMR With Suppressor Location 3: Apartment Building in Pripyat Near Sunny Kindergarten
Before you get this variant of the Bolt Action Rifle, you need to get to Pripyat by completing the mission “Boundary”. If you haven’t, here’s a guide on how to get to Pripyat early. This is the only Mark I EMR with a suppressor and scope attached. It can only be found near the Sunny Kindergarten in the Pripyat region. But be ready to put up a fight. The area is crowded with Monolithians and Pseudodogs. So, stock up on med kits, put on your best exoskeleton, and get your best gun out.
After you’re done cleaning up the place, head to the top of the Apartment Building via the stairs. Inside the apartment, you’ll find a Monolithian scouting the area. Kill him, and you’ll find the Modified Mark I EMR with Suppressor on the Balcony.
Mark I EMR High Capacity Magazine Upgrade Blueprint Location
To get the high-capacity magazine upgrade blueprint for the Mark I EMR, you need to complete the Main Story Mission “Happiness for Everyone” to freely roam the Duga Region. Make your way to the building marked on the map near the Military Unit Location. Shoot the padlock on the front door. Inside, you’ll find a keypad on the right wall.
The code to the Keypad is “2110”. The Keypad Combination will grant you access to the sealed stash underground. Proceed to the room at the end to access the Blue Stash containing the High Capacity Magazine Upgrade Blueprint for the Mark I EMR.
