All Kharod Locations in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl
The Kharod Assault Rifle in Stalker 2 can be found in the region of Yantar and Yaniv. Two free Kharods are found on a dead Ward member and inside the Yantar Dam Stash. The third Kharod location is a trader in the Yaniv region.
Kharod Location 1 in Stalker 2: Cave Near Choppers Field in Yantar
North of the Choppers Field in Yantar, you’ll spot a vehicle wreck dipping into a ditch. Climb down into the ditch and you’ll find a cave. Prepare to fight two Bloodsuckers. After defeating the Bloodsuckers, enter the cave and look right to spot a an elevated cave route. Follow the cave route, and watch your step as you might fall into the trench in the ground. At the end of the cave, you’ll find the corpse of an NPC named Hermes. Loot his body to get the Kharod, a Rhino Revolver, and a Ram 2 Shotgun. This covers the location of the first Kharod in Stalker 2, but it has low durability, so you’ll have to get it repaired.
Kharod Location 2 in Stalker 2: Yantar Dam Stash Code Puzzle
Head to the north western edge of Yantar. You’ll find a bus dangling off the edge of the Yantar Dam. Getting down seems impossible as you can’t interact with the ladder. But don’t worry. First, eliminate the swarm of rats with two grenades. To the right of the bus, drop down onto the Cushion Anomaly, and enter the Yantar Dam Stash. Here, you’ll find the Yantar Dam Stash Code Puzzle. You can find the solution to the code in the Choppers Field by locating buses marked with the Eye Symbol, but that will take time. So, the solution to the Keypad Combination Puzzle is 5578. Inside the Bunker, you’ll find a mint-condition Kharod Assault Rifle. Flip the lever and the ladder outside the Bunker will drop, allowing you to leave the Yantar Dam Stash.
Kharod Location 3: Yaniv Base Station in the Yaniv Region
North of Yantar, head to the Yaniv Base Station. Here, you’ll find a trader named Wreck who always has the Kharod in stock. You can buy the Kharod for around 30,000 Coupons from the trader. That covers the third Kharod Location in Stalker 2.
All Kharod Upgrades and Blueprints in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl
There are two Kharod Blueprints; the Rubber Coating and the Counterweight Upgrade Blueprint, found across the Zone. The final upgrade is the high-capacity magazine upgrade, which is found on the eastern edge of the map.
Kharod Rubber Coating Upgrade Blueprint Location in Stalker 2 (Chasm, Yantar Region)
The Rubber Coating Upgrade Blueprint for the Kharod is found in the Chasm in the Yantar Region where you looted the corpse of Hermes. Make sure to have some Chemical Protection and crouch through the Poisonous Gas. In the middle of the Chasm, you’ll find the Moonlight Artifact along with a stash which contains the Rubber Coating Upgrade Blueprint for the Kharod.
Kharod Counterweight Upgrade Blueprint Location (Outer Checkpoint, Cordon)
The Counterweight Upgrade for the Kharod Assault Rifle is found at the Outer Checkpoint in the Cordon Region. Head to the Outer Checkpoint. Behind the outpost, you’ll find a few boxes and a trap. Disarm the trap, and you’ll find a stash. The stash contains the Kharod Counterweight Upgrade Blueprint.
Kharod High Capacity Magazine Upgrade Location (Fishing Pier, Zaton)
The last upgrade for the Kharod is found at the southeastern edge of the Zaton Region. Here, you’ll find the Fishing Pier. Enter the Fishing Pier, and you’ll find a stash containing the High Capacity Magazine Upgrade for the Kharod in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl.
