Pripyat in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl is loaded with the best weapons, armor, and gear in the game. Once you manage to reach Pripyat, head straight to the Enerhetyk Palace of Culture, the main base. Here, you’ll find essentials like a bed and a technician. But we’re not here to sleep. Here’s how to get the best armor in Stalker 2, called the Diamond Exoskeleton.
How To Get The Diamond Exoskeleton in Stalker 2 — Stalker 2 Diamond Exoskeleton Location 1
After you make it to Pripyat and reach the Enerhetyk Palace of Culture, save the game. From this point, make your way to Sunny Kindergarten to get the Diamond Exoskeleton in Stalker 2
Aim for the far-left building at the Sunny kindergarten, specifically the northeastern-most building. Approach through the courtyard, staying alert—there are plenty of enemies in this area. Once you’ve cleared out some enemies or confirmed they’re upstairs, make your way to the F Room on the upper floor.
In the corner of this room, on top of some boxes, you should find the Diamond Exoskeleton. If it hasn’t spawned, don’t worry—it’s not locked behind story progression. Return to the Palace of Culture, sleep, and come back during the day. There’s always a chance for it to spawn. On the first visit, it might not appear, but repeating this process should eventually work.
Be very cautious, as this zone is crawling with enemies, and there’s also the risk of an emission happening. For example, an emission occurred on my first visit to the kindergarten.
Stalker 2 Diamond Exoskeleton Location 2: Yaniv, Spark Bunker)
The Diamond Exoskeleton can also be found on top of the Spark Bunker Northwest of the Yaniv Station in Yaniv. Getting on top of the Spark Bunker is the real problem. For me, it was relatively easy as I’ve been using the Stalkour Ledge Grabbing Mod by KennymyLenny.
Why the Diamond Exoskeleton Is the Best Armor
Once you have the Diamond Exoskeleton in your inventory, you’ll see why it’s considered the best armor in Stalker 2. Compared to the SEVA D Suit, it’s in a league of its own:
Weight: 9.5 kg (base weight, pre-upgrades).
Artifact Slots: Comes with five slots right out of the box.
Maximum Carry Weight: Adds an extra 17.6 kg of capacity.
If you visit the technician, you can fully upgrade this armor, making it even more powerful. Key upgrades include:
Radiation Protection: Significant boosts to handle high-radiation zones.
Carrying Capacity: Increases by 10%, allowing for better looting.
Sprint Ability: Enables sprinting, even with heavy armor.
After upgrading, the Diamond Exoskeleton becomes turns you into the Terminator:
Weight Reduction: Drops to 7.5 kg.
Max Weight Boost: Adds an additional 25.6 kg to your carry limit.
Stamina Regen: Gains 5% stamina regeneration.
Diamond Skeleton Upgrades: Lead Containers and Artifacts
The armor supports four lead containers without requiring blueprints. These containers allow you to equip artifacts with any level of radiation without taking damage. The green glow in the inventory confirms their functionality, ensuring radiation doesn’t leak and harm you.
Conclusion
Fully upgraded, the Diamond Exoskeleton is worth 375,000 coupons and is undeniably the best armor in Stalker 2. With its superior protection, artifact slots, and weight-carrying bonuses, this heavy armor set is a game-changer. Follow these steps to secure the Diamond Exoskeleton and dominate the Zone like never before.
