In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Zombies mode has taken a turn from the expansive, open-world style seen in Modern Warfare 3. Instead of a large, sprawling map full of areas to explore, Black Ops 6 has introduced a smaller, more intense survival map format. This year’s Zombies mode focuses heavily on surviving waves of undead, but it still offers layers of lore and hidden secrets waiting to be uncovered. One of these secrets, located in the Liberty Falls map, revolves around obtaining the Thrustodyne M23 Wonder Weapon—popularly known as the Jet Engine Wonder Weapon, or simply the Jet Gun. So, here’s how to build the Jet Gun or Thrustodyne M23 in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies in Liberty Falls.
Getting your hands on this unique weapon is just one piece of a larger puzzle. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the steps to unlock it, as part of a series exploring the secrets of Liberty Falls.

How To Find Jet Gun Parts in COD BO6 Zombies
As soon as the Liberty Falls map loads, make your way to the motel. Head up the stairs and take a right—soon, zombies will burst out of one of the locked doors. Clear them out, and inside the room, you’ll find a workbench holding what the NPC calls a Jet Gun or Jet Engine Gun. At first, it might seem like a fun Easter egg, but there’s more to this weapon.
Behind the workbench, you’ll find an audio log hinting that the Jet Gun requires three components to function fully: a wire, a valve, a handbrake, and a pressure gauge.
How To Build The Jet Gun In Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty Falls
Step 1: How To Find The Pressure Gauge
To start building the Thrustodyne M23 Jet Gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies mode on the Liberty Falls map, your first step should be acquiring the pressure gauge, as it’s one of the trickier components to get. I suggest doing this around Wave 4 when it’s manageable. Head towards the bowling alley and locate a panel on the wall with some pressure gauges behind it. Shoot the panel to expose the gauges.
Step 2: How To Find The Valve and Get The Pressure Gauge
Next, you’ll need a valve. Head back to the motel area and pass the comic book store to reach the Flower Shop. As you go up the stairs, you’ll see a flower shop with a hose outside. There’s a valve attached to the hose; even though there’s no prompt to interact, press “F” on your keyboard (or the interaction button on your controller) to pick it up. With the valve now in your inventory, return to the bowling alley and attach it to the pressure gauge.
Once attached, hold the interaction button to start increasing the water pressure. Be prepared—zombies will begin spawning as the pressure rises. If you’re playing solo, step away from the gauge to thin out the zombies until only one or two remain, preventing a new wave from spawning. When you’re down to a manageable number, go back and repeat the process until the water pressure maxes out, unlocking the pressure gauge for the Jet Gun assembly.
Step 3: How To Find The Wire in Radio House
With that item crossed off the list, the next component is the wire. This item is in the electronics store, but you can’t unlock the door simply by purchasing it. Wait until Wave 11 when Manglers start spawning. Target a Mangler’s shooting hand to make it drop its gun, which you can then pick up as a special weapon by pressing “3” on your keyboard. Use this Mangler gun to blow open the electronics store door known as Radio House. Inside, search the garbage piles for the wire, though some piles may spawn small enemies instead.
Step 4: How To Find The Handbrake
Now, head to the Cemetery near the church. During one of the waves, a groundskeeper zombie will appear, recognizable by his distinctive outfit. Kill him to collect a Toolshed key he drops. Use the Toolshed key to unlock the groundskeeper’s shack located off to the side of the Cemetery. Inside, you’ll find the handbrake, the final part needed for the Jet Gun.
Step 5: How To Craft or Build Jet Engine Gun in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies
With all three parts in hand, return to the motel and use the workbench. Press and hold the interaction button until the Jet Gun is fully assembled. Once it’s ready, equip the weapon and prepare to unleash its power.
COD BO6 Zombies Liberty Falls Jet Gun: Conclusion
This Wonder Weapon doesn’t rely on traditional ammo; instead, it regenerates. The left mouse button fires a close-range attack that eliminates nearby zombies, while the right mouse button uses all of its ammo in one blast, creating a small shockwave around you. Though this isn’t the most efficient use, the Jet Gun has a special role in progressing through Liberty Falls’ zombie storyline. A hint: you can use the left-click attack to pull certain objects, a crucial ability for completing the story in Liberty Falls.
