As, you all know, the Black Ops 6 Squid Game Event recently kicked off. But it will come to an end on 26 January 2025. Which means that Treyarch will start marketing Black Ops 6 Season 2 right around this date. So, here’s everything we know about Black Ops 6 Season 2 so far.
Black Ops 6 Season 2 Release Date
Black Ops 6 Season 2 is expected to release on January 29, 2025. Marketing material and a new Activision blog post will probably roll around the time the Black Ops 6 Squid Game Event officially comes to a halt on January 26.

Black Ops 6 115-Day Event Rumored
It’s expected that we might see a 115 Day Event, giving players a Double XP, and Double Weapon XP in regular Multiplayer and Zombies. If the 115 Day Event for Black Ops 6 does happen, it might take place sometime around January 15 to January 18, 2025.
New Operator Skin For Bayan in Black Ops 6 Season 2
After the January 3rd update, a new Operator Skin for Bayan was discovered for Season 2 by data miners with the placeholder name “Red”. But it’s possible that this skin might be a part of a crossover event or bundle.
Season 2 BlackCell Skin?
We’ve seen this BlackCell skin along with a slew of leaks, but truth be told, we aren’t sure if this skin was meant for BlackCell Season 1 and got scrapped down the line. Or this might be the first look at the Premium BlackCell Season 2 Operator Skin.
Black Ops 6 BlackCell Loyalty Bonus
Now, this part is a bit crazy. If you purchased BlackCell Season 1 and then go on to purchase BlackCell Season 2, you’ll become part of the BlackCell Loyalty program. The perks? A 10 Percent XP Boost for Season 2 with 10 Percent increments every season.
If you purchase every BlackCell Battle Pass up to Season 6, you can expect a 150 Percent XP stack. Add in a double XP token, and you could get an upwards of 300 Percent XP Boost.
Black Ops 6 Season 2 Zombies DLC Map
So far, it’s been speculated that the Dig Site map will make it to Black Ops 6 Season 2 as the second DLC map, following Citadelle Des Morts. In addition, we’ve been hearing rumors regarding a few returning perks like Double Tap, Death Perception, and Tombstone.

A few DLC Weapons rumored to be coming to Black Ops 6 Season 2 include the FN Five Seven, M72 Law, FN FAL, SAR 80, the Pellington 703, Sais, Skateboard, Bostaff, Nunchucks, an Ice-Pick and a Katana.
Black Ops 6 Season 2 Might Get The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover Event
The Bostaff, Sais, Skateboard, Katana, and Nunchuck are obviously a nod to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover which wasn’t rumored not too long ago. So, it’s quite possible that the TMNT Crossover will happen in Black Ops 6 Season 2.
