Avowed: Fragment of The Eyes Totem Fragment Side Quest Map Location
The Fragment of The Eyes Totem Side Quest Map in Shatterscarp can be found within the city area known as Thirdborn. These fragments serve as clues or documents that can be added to the journal to track totem-related discoveries. The vendor selling them is located inside the Dead Swordfish Merchant, Cinzia, in the Leviathan Market. Simply approach the vendor and purchase the fragment if you wish to document the clues. However, if you prefer to save your currency for other purposes, you can follow this guide and skip this step.
Avowed: Shatterscarp God Shrine Totem Base of Wael – Fragments of Eyes
For the Shatterscarp Totem Base, you can find the totem base, known as Eyes of the Obscured, not far from where you enter the area. Head downhill from the entry point and move toward the bottom-left corner of the map. Here, you’ll come across coral-like structures. Follow the path, and it will lead you deeper into some caves beneath the map.
Inside these caves, stick to the main path to avoid getting lost. Eventually, you will reach a shrine area. If you haven’t explored this location before, you will find the totem base at a location called The Shrine of Wael and that sums up on how to find the Shatterscarp Totem Base known as The Eyes of The Obscured God Shrine Totem Base of Wael. In each of the four shrine locations, you can pick up the core along with your first fragment.

The Eyes of The Obscured or Shatterscarp Totem Fragments of Wael are six and are found in different locations in Shatterscarp in Avowed. Here’s a list of all the Shatterscarp Totem Fragments in Avowed:

Avowed: Shatterscarp Ruby Eye Totem Fragment Location
The Ruby Eye Fragment is located near the Shrine of Wael where the Eyes of the Obscured totem base was found. Instead of backtracking, which is difficult due to cliffs blocking the way, look for a small exit tunnel that you can crouch through. Upon exiting, you will encounter an NPC directly in front of you, known as The Ward of The Eye. You can either talk to this person to receive the Ruby Eye or loot it from the ground in front of them. This should be your first Shatterscarp Totem Fragment, known as the Ruby Eye.
Avowed: Shatterscarp Amethyst Eye Totem Fragment Location
Another easily obtainable fragment in Shatterscarp is located in the far-right of the Ancient Lake Bed. On the far right side of the lake bed, you will find overhanging rock formations that create a small cave. Inside, you will discover the Amethyst Eye Totem Fragment.
Avowed: Shatterscarp Sapphire Eye Totem Fragment Location
Next, travel to the Sand Sea Oasis, which is near the Fast Travel point in the bottom-right corner of the map. As the name suggests, this area is an oasis. To find the Sapphire Eye Shatterscarp Totem fragment, dive into the water. Near the deepest point in the center, you can loot the fragment before running out of air.
Avowed: Shatterscarp Agate Eye Totem Fragment Location
A little north of the previous location and northeast of the Great Sand Sea, in the Sand Sea Ruins, you will encounter a giant ruined structure. This area is visited during either a side quest or the main story. You will see a locked door that is only accessible from the inside, meaning you must take an alternative route. Head up the hill and enter from the back. Be cautious of enemies along the way, though they do not respawn in Avowed.
Upon entering, you will find a hole leading downward. However, avoid dropping to the lowest floor; instead, land on the mid-level. Here, you will discover a glowing hidden room containing a shrine and a chest, along with the Agate Eye Fragment.
Avowed: Shatterscarp Emerald Eye Totem Fragment Location
The next fragment is located in Shark Teeth, near the Party Camp in the top-right corner of the map. As with most locations, you will visit this area naturally during the story, so there’s no rush to collect all fragments immediately. Near the Party Camp, you will find a small tower overlooking a large pit. Climb the ladder to the top of the tower, where you will find the Emerald Eye Fragment.
Avowed: Shatterscarp Topaz Eye Totem Fragment Location
Moving across the map, head to Leviathan’s Hollow in the top-left corner. You have to head northwest of the Deadfall Highlands and cross the bridge. Here, you will find a bounty target, a mini-boss that you may need to defeat. The defining landmark in this area will be the skeletal remains of a large shark. Dive into the water beneath the skull to find a hidden cave system. Vault to the top of the stairs on the left. Follow the stairs down. Inside, you will locate the Topaz Eye Fragment.
Assembling the Shatterescarp Totem Fragments
With all six fragments collected, return to your Party Camp. Keep in mind that only one totem can be activated at a time. Choose wisely to activate passive buffs as you progress through Avowed.
