Alyssa Mercante Elden Ring DLC Review — Horribly Butchered

The Alyssa Mercante Elden Ring DLC Shadow of The Erdtree Review was a joke. Kotaku company has fallen off–quite literally, hiring the likes of “Video Game Journalists” like “Alyssa Mercante”. In recent years, Kotaku was once a tabloid video game magazine, spreading misinformation in the video game industry, which went on to hire Woke Gaming Activists like Alyssa Mercante. But she always likes to stir up some controversy online, leaving a sour taste in everyone’s mouth.

Alyssa Mercante Elden Ring DLC — A Butchered Review

Instead of reputable Elden Ring Content Creators like Ziostorm, who has been creating Elden Ring content for nearly 4 years getting their hands on a Review Copy, Kotaku’s Alyssa Mercante got the Elden Ring DLC . According to Alyssa, she spent nearly 2 weeks playing the Elden Ring DLC and when it finally came to reviewing the game, she made some notable mistakes. The biggest blunder of them all was calling the Scadutree the Haligtree.

For those of you who don’t want brain rot while reading Kotaku’s Elden Ring, Shadow of The Erdtree DLC Review. It went something like this. Alyssa spent the majority of the review trauma dumping about how she was being “harassed” by middle-aged men. With a presumed two weeks of work under her belt, she only managed to play 20 hours of the game to post a review.

Alyssa Mercante, Kotaku “Video Game Journalist”

Personally, I don’t think Alyssa Mercante has the skills to speed run Shadow of The Erdtree in 20 hours, considering there is nearly 32 hours of in-game content to behold. To give you just an idea of how painful it was to read this Alyssa Mercante Elden Ring DLC review, here’s an excerpt:

“. In the real world, I have mostly avoided the ire of homophobes and misogynists in the game’s industry, writing an article that temporarily shakes them up before fading into relative obscurity once Reddit refreshes. But now, I am willingly subjecting myself to arduous adventure, running headfirst into a proverbial wall just to shake it off, back up, and run into it again. Outside the Lands Between and the Shadow Realm, I have spent nearly four months as the subject of a near-endless harassment campaign.”

Alyssa Mercante, Kotaku “Video Game Journalist”

Yeah, yeah–ok. We get it. But where’s the Alyssa Mercante Elden Ring DLC review? Oh, it starts after the whole rant. For the most part, the review was okay. But let’s be honest, the initial rant, throwing your personal life into the equation wasn’t what anyone was here for. If anything, people would have rolled their eyes and bounced off the page after reading the initial rant.

Summary

Kotaku has fallen off over the years, quite drastically. With the company’s “woke” direction and their game journalists, notably, Alyssa Mercante beefing with individuals online, she’s not the best representation of a Video Game Journalist. TL;dr, Kotaku’s Alyssa Mercante Elden Ring DLC Review just had a weird start to it.

The review started off, somewhat like a letter a soldier would send home to their wife and kids after their deployment in Afghanistan, venting to them about the horrors of war. Though, that’s a pretty extreme comparison. Let’s be honest, Allyssa Mercante definitely has it easy.

With that said, stay tuned for more Games Industry news, along with any upcoming Shadow of The Erdtree guides when the game finally launched on June 21, 2024.
