The Soulslike mechanics in Nexon’s The First Berserker: Khazan extend beyond just combat. Similar to Healing Flasks or Healing Gourds that recharge upon resting or restarting a level, this game introduces Netherworld Energy, which holds charges allowing players to recover health.

All Netherworld Energy Locations in The First Berserker: Khazan
There are five Netherworld Energy charge locations, each found in different missions.
1. Forgotten Temple – Netherworld Energy +1
- Location: Forgotten Temple
- Blade Nexus: Forgotten Temple Entrance
To obtain the first Netherworld Energy charge, teleport to the Forgotten Temple Entrance Blade Nexus. Climb the stairs until you find Dragonkin worshiping a Skeleton Shrine. Proceed to the second level and turn right.
Eliminate the two archers, then jump down. Follow the small set of stairs and approach the glowing object at the end of the path. Interact with it to obtain Netherworld Energy +1.
2. Strange Stench – Netherworld Energy +1
- Location: Strange Stench
- Blade Nexus: Collapsed Mine
The second charge is found early in the Strange Stench mission. Teleport to the Collapsed Mine Blade Nexus. Be cautious of bats as they can knock you off balance. Climb the ladder and traverse the beams until you drop onto a platform. Continue ascending using the second beam. At the very top, you’ll find Netherworld Energy +1.
3. Devoured Village – Netherworld Energy +1
- Location: Devoured Village
- Blade Nexus: Underground Water Facility
For the third charge, teleport to the Underground Water Facility Blade Nexus. Use the ladder to descend. Head past the flowing water and climb the second ladder on the opposite end of the room. At the end of the pipe, turn left and crawl through the hole in the wall.
Inside, you’ll encounter spiders and spider eggs—be wary of a ceiling ambush. At the far end, you’ll find a robed statue. Climb another ladder into a separate pipe system and turn left. At the end of this dingy passageway, you’ll discover Netherworld Energy +1.
4. Atlante The Precise – Netherworld Energy +1
- Location: Atlante The Precise
- Blade Nexus: Destroyed Ruins
During the Atlante The Precise mission, teleport to the Destroyed Ruins Blade Nexus. Engage and defeat the Renowned Warrior’s Shadow. Proceed straight, past the trees, where you’ll encounter an Elite Variant of the Renowned Warrior’s Shadow.
After defeating this enemy, just before entering the second area of the mission, you’ll find Netherworld Energy +1.
5. The Vow – Netherworld Energy +1
- Location: The Vow
- Blade Nexus: Forbidden Passage
Teleport to the Forbidden Passage Blade Nexus. Ascend the stairs and turn left into a room with multiple pathways. Follow the blood-stained path on the left until you reach a ladder. Drop down and engage the Renowned Warrior’s Shadow.
After defeating it, open the gate to enter a blood-drenched corridor. At the end of the hallway, turn left, then right, and climb a small staircase where two Yoma Pursuers await. Eliminate them and proceed right, ascending another staircase.
In the next small room, turn left into a passageway where another Yoma Pursuer appears. After eliminating this enemy, turn right at the end of the corridor. In the final room, you’ll face two Undead Shieldbearers and an Undead Ice Archer. Defeat them, and on the left side of the room, you’ll find the fifth Netherworld Energy +1.
