The Yo Ho Ho Dark Ops Calling Card is one of the most difficult Dark Ops Challenges to complete on Terminus in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Zombies mode. It requires that the player complete the Yo Ho Ho Dark Ops Challenge. The primary reason why it’s so difficult to complete this Dark Ops challenge is that it requires one to complete another Easter egg side-quest before they can get started on the main objective. So without further ado, let’s get right to how to get the Yo Ho Ho Dark Ops Calling card in COD: BO6 Zombies.
What is the Yo Ho Ho Dark Ops Challenge in COD BO6 Zombies?
The Yo Ho Ho Dark Ops challenge is a Dark Ops challenge that can only be completed in the Zombies mode. It requires players to earn 20,000 Essence with the Cursed Talisman equipped while taking no damage whatsoever. A bit too much for you? Well, there’s more. The Cursed Relic is only obtained after completing an Easter egg side-quest which requires venturing to 3 different locations. Each location has a surprise waiting for you, so let’s first discuss how to get the Cursed Relic.
How To Get The Cursed Relic on Terminus in COD BO6 Zombies
Before kick-starting the whole process, make sure you’ve armed yourselves with the best gear, preferably meta-weapons like LMGs, assault rifles, etc. Now, let’s begin.
Step 1: Get Melee Macchiato from the Terminus
To begin the Easter egg side-quest, you’ll need the Melee Macchiato perk from the Terminus. Get some from the Terminus in the underground lab on the island and proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Head to the Sea Caves area and break open the small cove
Now, head on to the Sea Caves area. There should be a spot lit by a lantern and some rocks appear to be hiding an opening. Use Melee Macchiato on the rocks to reveal the opening.
Step 3: Interact with the skeleton, retrieve his watch, and return it to him
There should be a skeleton sitting there. Interact with him and he’ll tell you about the watch he dropped near the island. He’ll even show you a map marking the location. This location stays the same for each game. Anyway, mark the “X” shown on the map on your own and hit the water on a boat. Take a quick dive and you should find the watch easily if you’ve marked the location correctly. Return the watch to him and talk to him again.
Step 4: Head to the 3 locations, defeat the HVTs,and collect the Cursed Coins
After talking to him, he’ll show you 3 different locations on the same map. These are the locations of 3 skeletons, which can only be raised by throwing a Thermogrenade or Molotov Cocktail on them. Once you do, an HVT will appear and you’ll need to take them down. The HVTs will drop each a Cursed Coin after they’re dead. You can collect all 3 Coins and return them to the skeleton, or you can take them back to him one at a time. For taking down the HVTs, we recommend doing Pack-a-Punch until you’ve reached a Blue/Purple Rarity weapon. The locations stay the same for each game.
Step 5: Collect the loot from his chest and head to Crab Island
After returning to the original skeleton, hand over the Cursed Coins and his chest will open up to drop several Legendary weapons. Pick them up and head on over to Crab Island.
Step 6: Survive a couple of rounds and find the new chest
Now, you’ll need to survive a couple of rounds on Crab Island. To be exact, you’ll need to survive till you hear or see lightning striking in the sky. This means that a new chest has been unlocked. The chest can appear randomly on any part of the island, but is usually found near the back. It’s also glowing gold, so it’s really hard to miss. Open up the chest to find the Cursed Talisman. The Cursed Talisman grants double points but comes at a risk of losing a majority of your Points if you take damage.
Surviving while Wearing the Talisman To Get The Yo Ho Ho Dark Ops Calling Card in COD BO6 Zombies
To tell the truth, the hard part is done. We all know it’s easy to survive without taking any damage in Zombies, provided you have good equipment and a spot that you know your way around. Like we said earlier, a meta weapon like an LMG or assault rifle can come in handy. Explosives are good too, but with the no-damage condition, make sure you don’t get caught in the blast radius. No damage also includes fall damage and the damage from the gas emitted by some zombies.
As for the spot, we recommend the Wreckyard near the starting area. Other great spots are the Garage or Cannon Camp on the main island. Remember, taking damage doesn’t void the challenge; it just means that you have to start counting your Essence from the point where you took damage.
Conclusion
Honestly, getting the Talisman is harder than the challenge itself. It’ll take about 2–4 rounds to complete the challenge with the Cursed Talisman. Compared to that, the Easter egg side quest takes much more time. Nevertheless, we hope this helped you out and we wish you the best of luck. Sound off below if you have any other great spots for completing the challenge.
