So, Weekend 1 of the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Open Beta is officially wrapped, and from what I’m hearing, it was a mixed bag. The hype is real, but players have been hitting some serious roadblocks. With Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Open Beta Week 2 release right around the corner, the game needs a bit more polishing. Treyarch, we really need some of these bugs fixed before Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Open Beta Week 2 kicks off.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Open Beta Week 2 Release Date and Timings
Weekend 1 of the Black Ops 6 Open Beta is officially wrapped, and from what I’m hearing, it was lit with a few problems here and there! But don’t worry if you missed it, because Round 2 is kicking off on September 6th at 10 AM PT. Treyarch is dropping a bunch of new stuff in this next phase, like:
- Level cap raised to 30
- Weapon balancing
- Spawn tuning – No more spawning right in front of an enemy, please!
- Increased Weapon XP earn rate – Level up those guns faster!
- Audio improvements – Better sound means better immersion.
- Bug fixes + more
COD BO6 Open Beta Bugs
As is the case with every iteration of COD we see in an open beta phase, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is suffering from a few issues and hiccups. Though, we hope Treyarch gets around to fixing these problems.
Laggy Servers & Hit Registration
So, I spent some serious time in the Black Ops 6 Open Beta last weekend, and while the hype is real, I have to say, there were some major frustrations.
First off, the lag was brutal. I can’t tell you how many times I emptied a clip into someone only to see them turn around and drop me like it was nothing. And don’t even get me started on the spawning system – it felt like I was constantly getting beamed the second I respawned. Felt like my guns were shooting blanks.
Map Variety Sucks So Far
The maps were also a bit of a letdown. There just wasn’t enough variety to keep things interesting, and some of the layouts felt really unbalanced. Plus, jumping into the water felt pointless – you’re basically a sitting duck until you can get back on land.
Conclusion
I’m hoping Treyarch addresses these issues in Round 2 of the Open Beta, which kicks off tomorrow. They’re promising a bunch of new stuff, like a higher level cap, weapon balancing, spawn tuning, and more. But honestly, I’ll believe it when I see it.
Time will tell if Black Ops 6 will live up to the hype, but right now, it’s feeling a bit shaky. I’m still cautiously optimistic, but Treyarch needs to deliver on these fixes, or the community’s excitement might fizzle out faster than a flashbang.
Are you jumping into the Open Beta this weekend? Or are the current problems a dealbreaker? Let me know in the comments!
